returned sharp aquos 60″ 120 hz lcd …. too much motion blur and purple blacks off center, crappy sound also…picked this up after much debating and research…couldn’t be more pleased!!! The pic is amazing, even without geeky fine tuning, which I will get to one of these days, the sound on virtual surround is more than ok, but I still have a surr. sound hooked up just for sometimes, plenty of inputs, no complaints! No buzzing, no burn-in, no nothing—high def looks amazing, std def looks decent on the rare occasion its watched, and reg. digital movie channels look just about high def—the ultra high contrast ratio really makes a difference. Also, the set is gorgeous-a beautiful addition to any room. We only sit about 9-10 feet away and pic looks great, so don’t think its automatically too big. And forget about blu-rays—the pic is practically 3-D !!! If you can’t tell, I feel that this is the best 2K i’ve ever spent on an elec. product…just hope she lasts…I got a Square Trade Warranty to help ensure that…this model usually on sale at Sears for 39 every week recently….Good Luck!!!

I’ve only had this tv a few days so I’ll update later on. But so far Picture is amazing!!! I watched Ice Age 2: meltdown on Blu-ray first and was in awe at how 3D it looked. Watched The Matrix last night on HD-DVD through the xbox and was again impressed by the detail and clarity of the picture. I do have the contrast low right now for break in but its still plenty bright. I tried out Call of duty: Modern Warfare 2 last night and the picture was astounding. There was some lag for me(although I go through a reciever first) until I turned on game mode which seemed to aleviate the problem. I admit I havn’t played around with many of the settings yet but will update after break in. Image retention has been none even after watching leterbox movies. I’m a very happy customer so far and would recommend this set to anyone.
